Akam Ahmed, who was detained for four months by the UK Border Agency at a detention centre near Heathrow, has returned to Hastings. He has been granted temporary admission, while his case is assessed. We hope that the outcome will be a positive one for him and that he will eventually be allowed to stay permanently.
